The Cache River Basin Ride leaves Harrisburg via U.S. Hwy 45. As you leave town turn left on Illinois Hwy. 34/145 towards Pankyville. Stay on IL 145 at Mitchellville. This will take you to Eddyville,Glendale, the Dixon Springs Agricultural ExperimentStation and past the Lake Glendale Recreation area. At the junction of IL 145 and !46 make two left turns to 146 west. This will pass through the Town of Grantsburg and the unusual Grantsburg swamp. Stay on 146 until you reach Vienna. At the 4-way stop intersection turn left (south) on U.S.45. Turn Right on the Belknap Rd. and then to Karnak. Go straight ahead on169 at the 4-way stop until you intersect IL.37. Turn right towards Whitehill then left on the Perks Rd.and continue on to Dongola. At Dongola proceed straight through town and take the Cypress Rd to Cypress. At Cypress turn left on IL. 37 towards West Vienna. Continue on north on IL.37 to the Tunnel Hill Rd. Turn right to Tunnel Hill. Continue on until you reach U.S.45. Turn Left towards Harrisburg. Dollys restaurant on 146 west of Vienna is a recommended lunch stop. Enjoy your ride.
