WHAT WE ARE ALL ABOUT
“TAG-ALONG” is a free service provided to groups of motorcyclists wishing to visit beautiful Southern Illinois. Just tell us where or what you would like to see or do and we’ll do our best to provide the needed information

While we can help you enjoy you ride by providing information on suggested scenic routes to travel, spectacular sites and areas to visit and the best places to find a great tasting BBQ or fish fillet,... we do not conduct tours. If you wish, and we are available, one or two of us would be happy to “TAG-ALONG” to function as a source of information and to make travel suggestions if asked.

We are all retirees from several different business and professional backgrounds. Over the past few years we have ridden most of the paved roads of Southern Illinois and Northern Kentucky several times enjoying the little known beauty of this area.

All of the rides we identified for your consideration are 1 day rides beginning and ending in Harrisburg, Illinois, except for the new  LITTLE EGYPT HORNYTOAD RIDE. It is over 300 miles.You can view the route and the narrative description on the specific web page for each ride. A larger scale map is available via e-mail. Just send us an e-mail identifying which ride(s) you are interested in taking and we will send you a usable map and full description.

One final comment. We do not support or recommend any of the "pop-up" ads you have or will experience on this site. Hey, when it is a free website ya gotta expect a few inconviences. If we ever win the lottery we may invest in a pop-up free website, Ha!
